Justin is a long time friend of mine and I was super thrilled when he told me about his 3rd book release – a 40 day guide to practicing prayer during Lent. For the project he was partnering with artist Scott Erickson to help bring some much needed, in my opinion, additional images to current Christian iconography. In December, Justin asked me to help him think through how this book could be launched and make the content extremely accessible.
The book was supported on kickstarter from a group of very smart patrons – again, in my opinion. Justin has been showing his expertise in the areas of creativity (Title Pending) and faith (CMYK) over the last 5 years with 3 books, 5 EP’s and a full length album. It’s exciting to see someone create as effectively and creatively as he has. The book launched a couple of weeks ago and already it’s making waves.
Here’s how the book works: Throughout Lent, each day has a prayer and an image connected with it. The reader pauses and reflects on the prayer. Simple, right?
